David Hashman

David Hashman is Founder and Principal of Knowledge Works LLC. Mr. Hashman has more than 25 years of telecommunications, systems, and management experience with Fortune 500 and entreprenurial organizations.  He is an ITIL-trained information technology professional with a record of developing and supporting successful high-ROI projects and solutions. Mr. Hashman specializes in telecommunications, fiber optics, and the overall alignment and integration of technology with business strategy.

Previously, Mr. Hashman was Chief Engineer for Road 9, Inc, a broadband solutions company specializing in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) deployments for new master planned communites in the U.S. and Mexico. He also has served in senior management roles for a number of high-technology start-ups, including Chief Technology Officer for PetroNet Corporation, Chief Operating Officer for Castlewood Communications, and Chief Information Officer for iCON.COM, Inc. Mr.Hashman's extensive entreprenurial background is balanced by his prior large-company experience as Executive Director for telephony product management at CSG Systems International, a $400M billing services firm and as Director for Fortune 500 U S WEST (now Qwest).

Mr. Hashman's formal education includes a Masters degree in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Bachelors degree in Mathematics (specializing in Computer Science) from Purdue University. He is a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and an ETA-I Certified Fiber Optics Designer, Technician, and Installer. Mr. Hashman also holds an ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
